ABOUT US

 

Hallam Safety was formed by Simon Brentnall in 2017 to help, support, advise and train SME's through to global organisations. Simon has in excess of 30 years experience of working in the plant, tool and powered access rentals industry supporting the construction sectors, this commenced back in 1986 where he began working for a small independent plant & tool hire company in the East Midlands. It was during this period as branch manager in Nottingham that he took an active interest in Health & Safety and through the support of his employer and peers became the head of health & safety in the North and Midlands. This was the catalyst for a career in health and safety, which commenced with gaining formal qualifications and eventually becoming a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (CMIOSH) in 2009. He has previously worked as a Senior HSEQ Manager for a large national FSTE 250 plant & tool hire company and also Health & Safety Director for a national powered access company. Within these roles he has gained a vast amount of experience. Over the last few months he has working within many sectors to share this experience. Sectors include the Food, Motor Vehicle, Plant & Tool Hire, Retail, Logistics and Construction. He is also qualified in environmental matters an awarded Practitioner membership status by the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (PIEMA).  Simon can be found on the Occupational Safety & Health Consultants Register, (OSHCR).
